Who Rascal is and info about him. Rascal is my pet cat he is a male tabby main coon. He is orange and I say that on a sunny midday he glows red. My mom, Dad and brothers got him as a Christmas present from an anti-cruelty pound. In the pound his name was Sting I have no idea why they would name such a nice cuddly cat Sting. if we didn't adopt rascal he may have been put to sleep. He was a stray                                                 Cats No matter how cute and cuddly they seem, cats are natural born fighters. They have claws, teeth, extreme senses, and liqhtning fast reflexes. Cat's are amazing hunters, being able to walk almost silently,and having  intense smell, hearing, feeling, and sight.                                                Cat's of the Week ABBYSIAN: Abbysians are extremely energetic cats. They are amazing climbers. Their fur has beautiful coloring, each hair has 3 different bands of color- this can make them appear blue and violet. Other colors are a reddinsh-orange, gold, and all the shades inbetween. They were one of the breeds worshiped by the Anchient Egyptains. BOMBAY: Bombays are black cats. originaly they were thought to be evil and bad luck, but now only some people think that. Now they are considered many  different things. Some say good luck, some say bad, and many think they are nuetral. There eyes can be copper and gold, and they are knon for sleek fur, and amazing strength. These cats are friendly, smart, and become very attached to their owners. SIBERIAN: The siberian is a big, strong, long furred. Although this cat is large in size, they have amazing agility and are great jumpers. Siberians come from Russia, and a long time ago, they often were gaurds. Many were also pets to munks. They are very independant and need lots of space. They normally develope "dog-like" loyalty to their owners. Not very good lap cats. RUSSAIN BLUE: Russain blues have a long slender figure, and soft, blue-ish looking fur. their eyes are a wonderous green, making a beautifull cat when joined by the gentle, pointed yet rounded figure and sleek blue gray fur. These cats are sweet and shy, they are fragile cats and need delicate care. They are perfectly happy staying inside watching out a window. A familiar place and familiar people make it comfortable.
